Ayaka Joins New Agency
Ayaka, who graduated from H!P just a few days ago, looks stuning in her new profile picture on a new talent agency’s website. Her profile on Tristone Entertainment (which Oguri Shun, Yaguchi Mari’s ex-boyfriend, works for) says that her stage name is now Nagate Ayaka.

It’s a girl! And a boy! Tsunku’s a Daddy!
H!P producer Tsunku and his wife, Kanako, are now proud parents of a boy and a girl. The girl was born first at 3:46a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 13.9 ounces. The boy came shortly after at 3:52a.m. weighing 4 pounds, 7.3 ounces. The names have not been decided…
Both mother and children are in good health.

Dear fans and media, on the event of my wife’s childbirth,
First of all,
Thank you all so much for all of your support and patronage!
The first winds of summer are blowing, and the weather is becoming pleasant.
Now, as was already mentioned my wife has just given birth to twins in a downtown hospital. The first, a girl weighing 2208g, was born at 3:46 on April 29, 2008. The second, a boy weighing 2476g, was born at 3:52. Both are healthy and were born naturally, so now I’d like to give you all a report!
Her labour pains began at around 1:30 in the morning, and she was quickly taken to the maternity room, where it only took two hours to give birth!
It was an easy birth, and the doctors, nurses, and midwife were all surprised!
“Huh? Already? Wow, it’s so soon!”
And I was standing by!
(I was doing my best with camera and video camera in hand.)
I’ll never forget the feeling in that instant when my spirit felt like it was being connected to the universe.
After the birth, mother and children were in perfect health. The boy snuggled up to his mother’s pillow and was sleeping soundly right away. The girl is back with her mother after a few days in the incubator. They were both nursing just now, so they seem to be fine.
I’m thankful I could share my feelings, and the information about the safe birth, with you all.

A Week of Graduations
The second graduation this week….
The last Coconuts Musume, Ayaka, has graduated H!P to focus on work as an actor.
A message on the H!P website read: “She worked hard as the last remaining member of Coconuts Musume, since it’s beginnings in 1999, but has decided that on April 30, 2008, she will graduate from Coconuts Musume and from Hello!Project.”
Ayaka’s comments, translated by H!O:
I’m Ayaka, from Coconuts Musume. I have some information for you all today. In order to follow my dream of becoming an actor, I have decided to graduate from Hello!Project. It’s been almost 9 years since our debut in ‘99… I have a lot of fun memories. Those memories are my precious treasures! I’d like to thank the fans who always supported me, the other Hello Project members who I love, Tsunku who was always watching over us, and all the kind staff members for everything m(__)m! I’m so full of gratitude. I may be graduating from Hello!Project, but I hope you’ll still support me as I pursue my dream of becoming an actor!
Honestly, I’m happy that she made the right decision. Being in H!P, Ayaka wasn’t able to show her true potential. Now that she’s going to be working on an actress, I will totally be supporting her 100%.

Morning Musume to Perform in Shanghai
At a press conference help on April 29 in Tokyo, it was made official that Morning Musume will perform in Shanghai as part of the public relations efforts aimed at the Shanghai Expo 2010. Leader Takahashi Ai was handed a letter of invitation from Shanghai authorities. Morning Musume is the first Japanese artist to be invited.
The concert will be held at Shanghai Grand Stage on June 28, 2008.
